June Card Sketch
June Card Sketch

Here is my take on the sketch:

For the base of my card I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies from Gina Marie Designs.
The watercolor background is a freebie that I found on Pinterest. Cool, right?
The die cut cake is from the "Once Upon a Princess" cartridge and the candle is from the Wild Card cartridge. I added glossy accents to the candle. For the cake, I used the fun printed paper from the DCWV's "Good Eats" Stack. For the flowers I added a duplicate layer for dimension and adhered pearls to the center. The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from the "Banner Sentiment" stamp set from My Craft Spot (no longer in business).

Here is a closer view that the yummy cake...

Congrats Grad!

Good day to all my bloggy friends!
Happy Friday!
For today I would like to share with all a graduation card that I made for a neighbor.
I was inspired by last week's sketch challenge over at Die Cuttin's Divas.
For the base of card I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies from Gina Marie Designs.
The black & white chevron paper is from Recollections.
I used the "Woo Hoo" stamp & die set from Sunny Studio Stamps
To color the cute grad cap I used Spectrum Noir Markers and adhered it to the center of a die cut circle. Next, I added sunshine yellow skittles by Carri at DoubleClick.

Other Supplies:
Recollections cardstock
My Creative Time: Bunch of Fun Circle Dies
Cricut Design Space: Scallop Circle Die Cut

A Summer Treat

Good day to all my bloggy friends!
Before I go into my project I wanted to say thank you for all of my wonderful birthday wishes!!

You are all AWESOME! I've been a little busy with work but things are slowing down a bit and I will finally be given a regular 9-5 schedule (next week). I will be making my bloggy visits to see all of the wonderful creations that you've all made. Since I had some time to craft and I wanted to join in on the following challenges, I made a summer card.

1. Pink and Main Challenge: Summer

2. Die Cuttin' Divas: Summer Foods

Here is what I created:

With Summer in mind, I decided to go with a Summer treat theme, like a Popsicle. Yummy!
I made a fun fold card using Stitched Rectangles Dies and I used the fun printed popsicle paper from the DCWV's "Good Eats" Stack. I was one of the May winners and the stack was my prize. Thanks DCWV! I absolutely love it! I cut out several layers of the "Sweet Dies" from Pink & Main and adhered it together for dimension. Once the popsicle was assembled, I adhered it to the scallop and circle die cuts with foam dots, added pink glitter to the stripes and sprinkled some sequins for extra cuteness!
